Voting in-person on Election Day? Check your polling location and make a plan to vote.

Iowa voters are required to show an Iowa driver’s license or non-operator ID, U.S. passport, U.S. military ID or veteran’s ID, tribal ID/document or Iowa voter ID card at the polls before voting.

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time on 11/7/23.

Early Voting

Vote Early In Person​

Beginning on October 18th, you can vote in-person at the Polk County Auditor’s office during business hours, Monday – Friday.

Early voting for the November 7, 2023 election begins October 18 and ends November 6.

Absentee Voting​
